1.) Why be a Sponsor?
Becoming a sponsor is a great way to be a part of a seriously competitive team
without the financial burden of owning the horse outright. Higher level sponsors
especially will be treated like owners, thus you are enjoying the benefits without
all the costs! Sponsoring this horse is giving him a chance to fulfill his great
potential in eventing. No horse can make it to the top without help from a trainer
and the funds collected for Classico Z will go towards upkeep of the animal,
event entries, tack and equipment, and training costs.
2.) Can I go to the barn and visit Classico Z?
Gold sponsors will be given opportunities to go on farm visits. These must
always be scheduled out of respect for the barn owners and managers as well
as the trainer. At scheduled times you will be able to come and see training
sessions and visit with Classico Z and his trainer Danny Warrington.
3.) How often do I need to pay?
The way we've set this up is that you pay once a year. We are currently accepting
sponsors for 2010. You do not have to commit to any longer than one year.
However, if you do not continue to sponsor Classico Z you will not be given the
sponsorship benefits listed below past the year that you have paid for.
4.) Can this horse be sold?
The plan is to never sell Classico Z. Once he has retired from eventing he will
live out his days at his "childhood home" of Split Elm Equestrian. However if we
do receive a substantial offer on him, selling him is a possibility. The only way we
will sell him is if we can pay all of our gold sponsors back and make a substantial
enough sum to make everyone happy (owner, trainer, and sponsors).
